The city view from my room was quite pleasant. The location was ideal for exploring the area easily.
The overall comfort of the room did not meet my expectations.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the Devonshire Theatre and enjoyed the Winter Garden. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Just a heads up, the shower room was a bit cramped, but the great shower pressure made up for it. Definitely recommend it for a fun getaway!
The shower room was extremely small with the toilet, sink, and shower very close together, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Great location, comfy stay!
I had a cozy stay in a single room, super comfy bed and clean linens. The location was perfect, just a stroll away from the seafront. Breakfast was a nice surprise with a solid selection, although I wish the hot food service was more flexible. Some staff could've been a bit friendlier. All in all, pretty good vibes overall.

The Mowbray offers a charming and inviting atmosphere with its comfortable, characterful Edwardian decor. The common areas are well-maintained, and accessibility features like the lift made navigating for seniors quite easy during our stay.
A few more accessible seating options in common areas.

Outstanding breakfast and welcoming atmosphere
I had a wonderful stay in a Super King Double room for two nights, and I must highlight the incredible breakfast options. The selection was vast, with fresh fruits, various cereals, and hot choices that exceeded my expectations. The staff were genuinely friendly, making me feel right at home. clearer instructions for check-in would have made the arrival process smoother.

It was a fitting option for a day tour in Eastbourne with decent value for money. The poached eggs at breakfast were amazing. Bring your own milk for tea.

The Single Room was super comfy with blackout blinds, which was a plus for a good night's sleep. The bed felt amazing, and it was really quiet. Loved the bright feel from the big windows too. Shower pressure was solid, and I appreciated that it warmed up quickly. Oh, and there was a handy double plug by the bed!

Spacious rooms with comfortable bedding really made the difference during my stay. The honesty bar was a nice touch, providing a bit of flexibility in self-service drinks whenever you felt like it.
The shower room felt cramped, making it uncomfortable to use with the toilet and sink so close together. I ran into some issues with the check-in process, which was a bit confusing and could’ve used clearer instructions upon arrival. The inconsistency with towel replenishment was notable. a couple of days there were none at all, which wasn’t ideal. I also had trouble with the window operation, it was stiff, making it a hassle to get fresh air when I wanted.

Cleanliness could use a serious improvement!!! The cramped bathroom left much to be desired, with minimal space and poorly maintained fixtures!!!
